Shipping Logistics & Tracking Update

Hey Freak War backers,
First, thank you again for your patience over the past month.
Many of you have been asking about tracking numbers, and I want to be as clear as possible about what’s been happening.
What We Shared Before
Back in Update #21, I mentioned that our fulfillment partner encountered an unexpected issue that caused a sudden delay just as orders were ready to ship, but that they had found another solution and we were moving forward. At the time, I didn’t know the exact details—only that shipping costs for you would stay the same and the issue had been "resolved."
What We’ve Since Learned
We’ve just now received confirmation that the solution was to consolidate all US orders, freight them into the States, and hand them off to a US hub for fulfillment. This was news to us as well—we didn’t know this was the plan until we got the message.
We genuinely thought US orders had shipped out at the same time as international orders. (As a US backer myself, I’ve also been waiting on my own tracking number and/or package.)
On the bright side, your shipping costs never changed, even though this approach added unexpected freight costs (which our fulfillment partner covered). On the frustrating side, this detour is what’s caused the long delay and the silence on many tracking numbers.
Where Things Stand Now
The good news is Freak War has officially arrived here in the US. Once orders are processed and shipped from the warehouse, we've been informed that tracking codes will finally be generated and emailed to you. We’re still waiting on the exact timeline for when those labels will start rolling out, but we’ll update you the moment we see them.

Still Waiting? Tracking Info Update
We know many of you are still awaiting your packages and tracking information.
Some backers have reported receiving tracking details and/or their package, while others (including myself—I backed the campaign from the United States) have not.
We've reached out to our fulfillment partner requesting the complete tracking information for all backers. Once we receive this data, we'll be able to provide tracking info manually upon request.

Freak War Is Shipping NOW!

The moment we've all been waiting for is finally here. Freak War has officially started shipping!
Tracking Information
Our fulfillment partner has indicated they will send tracking codes to the email associated with the order. As of right now, I haven't personally seen any tracking information go out yet (including my own), so please be on the lookout.
Custom & Special Cards Reminder
Just a quick reminder—your custom art cards, doodle cards, and 1-of-1 cards will be shipped directly by Nate Galbraith. These special items will arrive separately and slightly later than your main order. We'll keep you posted!
Deadline for Next Shipment Wave (July 18th)
If you haven't completed your BackerKit survey or shipping payment yet, please do so by July 18th to ensure your order is included in the next wave of shipments. This helps us make sure everyone gets Freak War as soon as possible!
Backer Exclusivity Until September 1st (Tentative)
Beyond the exclusive magnetic box and special cards you'll receive as backers, Freak War won't be available to the public until after our backer-exclusive period ends.
We're tentatively looking at lifting backer exclusivity on September 1st, giving you early access to enjoy the game before anyone else.

Shipping Update & Apology

Hey Freak War backers,
First, I owe you an apology. I know it's been a while since our last update, and many of you have been so ready for shipping news.
Right when we were about to cross the finish line a few weeks ago, we encountered an unexpected issue with our fulfillment partner that caused a sudden delay just as orders were ready to ship.
I intended to wait until the issue was resolved to update you—but looking back, I should have communicated sooner. I'm genuinely sorry for leaving you in the dark.
But here's the great news.
The issue is now fully resolved, and our shipping partner communicated that orders are planned to start leaving the warehouse this upcoming week of July 7th (my birthday!).
The next update we send will officially confirm that fulfillment has started.
I can't emphasize enough how grateful I am for your patience and understanding throughout this process. We're almost there—thank you for hanging in with us!

Get Ready—Freak War Shipping Starts Soon!

We’ve got great news from our fulfillment partner—shipments are almost ready to roll out!
What’s Happening Now?
The majority of orders are being packed and prepped to leave our warehouse in mid-June as part of a consolidated shipment. That means we're incredibly close to getting Freak War into your hands!
Here’s a quick breakdown of what to expect:

Asia
Orders heading to Asia will be shipped locally and won’t require express service or customs clearance.

USA, Canada, Europe & ROW (Rest of World)
These make up the bulk of our orders and will ship via express service.
This ensures faster delivery—but it also means you might need to handle customs clearance when your package arrives.
If you run into any issues, just let us know—we’ve got your back (check out the P.S. below)!
What Should You Do?
If you haven’t paid for shipping yet, please do so ASAP!
Log in to your BackerKit account, review your pledge, confirm your shipping address, and complete your shipping payment. You'll be included in the next wave of fulfillment.

P.S. Not sure what “handling customs” means? It usually just means your carrier (like DHL or FedEx) may contact you to pay a small import fee before delivery. If you do get charged a customs fee, we’ve got you covered. Just send us a copy of your receipt—we want to make sure your final cost stays fair. And if you need any help, don’t hesitate to reach out!
